In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Mark Williams, John Factor, and Albert Bronaugh of the Native American Paranormal Project (NAPP). "How
interesting would it be to see Natives doing that on the big screen?"
That was the basis of a conversation between Happy Frejo and Mark
Williams back in 2010 while watching a cable ghost hunting show. And the
idea was planted. A year later Mark Williams, a Choctaw filmmaker with
Native Boy Productions, began to see it through and would ask Happy
Frejo, a Pawnee/Seminole motivational speaker and performer, about
hosting a documentary about a Native Paranormal site. She said yes, and
the Native American Paranormal Project was born.
Mark began recruiting team members, all the while
researching a location for his documentary. Only a few criteria were
required from each member: they would have to be Native American, have
an open mind, and be willing to share their experience on camera. As for
the location, it would need to have a known history of a paranormal
presence and most importantly have a Native American past. The site was
to be Concho Indian Boarding School in Concho, Oklahoma. The team
members would be Happy Frejo (Pawnee/Seminole), Marina McKane Bronaugh
(Creek/Kiowa), John Factor (Seminole/Kiowa), Steve Jacob (Choctaw),
Brian Frejo (Pawnee/Seminole), Albert Bronaugh (Kiowa/Creek), Darah
Hudson (Chickasaw/Choctaw/Seminole/Creek), D.D. DeCoteau
(Chickasaw/Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate), Reana Hudson
(Chickasaw/Choctaw/Seminole/Creek), and in later documentaries Quese IMC
(Pawnee/Seminole).
In October 2011, the team visited Concho and came
back with some amazing footage. It began as a one-time project, but at
the documentary premiere in Oklahoma City, it turned out to be a
standing-room-only event. The feedback was amazing and then the requests
came for another screening, more documentaries, more investigations,
and NAPP would then become a documentary series.
"Four
feature documentaries and a handful of mini documentaries later,
NAPP has gained many fans and supporters from the Native community
and from the peers in their field," Mark said. "But it's more than just
paranormal footage or a documentary, because each location tells the
story of our people. So we treat each location with respect, acknowledge
its cultural significance and historical impact on our people, and at
the same time give that past a voice to share their story through our
findings."

In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Rick Waid. Rick is a seer, remote viewer, and past-life reader. He was born
with gifts that he did not realize he had until his late-30s. While
Rick’s mother was also a reader, he did not become aware of his talents
until he began researching the paranormal.
Rick began to connect with the other side through Electronic Voice
Phenomena (also known as EVP), and he started having visions and
hearing his spirit guide. As his gift progressed, he learned how to remote view and was able to
psychically see places he had never visited before. As Rick’s gifts
continued to evolve, he began to see past lives of individuals. He can
also now connect with “the other side” and frequently receives messages
from loved ones beyond the veil.
Rick wrote My Paranormal Journey: One Man’s Obsession to share with others a compelling passion that ultimately revealed to him gifts he never knew he had.
“I hope it will help others realize there are reasons for exploring
into new territories and breaking through current boundaries,” Rick
said.

In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Frank Lazzaro, founder and director of New
Jersey Researchers of Paranormal Evidence. A life-long South Jersey native, Frank was exposed to the
paranormal world at an early age. He continued to have experiences, and over
time developed a strong desire to learn how to find ways to understand these
personal experiences. His first opportunity to begin investigating the
paranormal was under the guidance of Nancy Tursi and the
now defunct Double
Visions Paranormal Group located out of Palmyra, NJ.
Dedicated and desiring to learn more, in early 2009 Frank founded and currently
is the director of NJROPE Paranormal (New
Jersey Researchers of Paranormal Evidence), which operates throughout New
Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, and Delaware. NJROPE currently consists of
approximately 30 members, all of whom share Frank's desire to learn about the
paranormal world, but more importantly to assist people who are having
paranormal experiences in understanding and dealing with their given
situations.
He has written several classes, which are part of the intense NJROPE training
process, with variations offered to NJROPE clients and the public through
lectures intended to increase education and awareness about the subject. Frank
has completed over 120 paranormal investigations and consulted for dozens more.
During the show, Frank's co-director and case manager, Kerry Morony, also joins us.
