In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio: In The Dark, we talk with Lynn Russell, author of The Wonder of You: What the Near-Death Experience Tells You About Yourself. About 10 years ago, Lynn was researching material for a novel on NDERF (Near Death Experiences Research Foundation). She, like many people, was fascinated with the near-death phenomenon and enjoyed the chat group there. That was when Dr. Jeffery Long asked for a volunteer to do research for him, and Lynn agreed.
After she had researched a couple hundred cases, she started to see hidden messages. After Lynn researched 2,500 NDEs, she decided the information was for everyone, thus she wrote the book, The Wonder of You: What the Near-Death Experience Tells You About Yourself.
"Although there are many books written on NDEs, they either talk about one individual experience or present research on one aspect of the experience," said Lynn. "The Wonder of You: What the Near Death Experience Tells You About Yourself talks about a very wide range of experiences. It takes the reader through the different aspects of the experience, explains them in detail, and brings out the deep learning being brought back."
The main thrust of Lynn's book is to show the reader what magnificent creatures they are and how they play an active role in the creation of all they know. The book looks at a bit of science, although not a lot. "I take a quick peek at how scientists are discovering a new paradigm for the cosmos," said Lynn. "It appears the universe is a hologram. So where does that leave us? We are One with the Loving Light NDErs talk about and are indeed amazing creatures."
There are still a thousand questions, according to Lynn. "Every new understanding opens a door and 10 more questions come along with it," she said. "Human beings are curious creatures, and we don’t rest until we have our answers. We will continue to ask, probe, and study to find answers that will lead to new understanding and probably new questions."

In
this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio: In The Dark, we talk with Jack Kenna of SPIRITS of New England and Rensselaer Paranormal Research. Jack grew up in an area rich in history, legends, and documented haunted graveyards, historical buildings, and revolutionary
battlefields. Jack’s interest in the paranormal started at a very young
age. This was driven by the fact that his mother had many experiences
of her own, which she often relayed to him. The home he grew up in and
now raises his family in also helped to peak his interest in the
paranormal; in addition to
his wife and their seven children, it is also home to what he refers to
as a friendly spirit, which seems to keep an eye out for the family. In
more recent years, his interest in the paranormal was rekindled by the
TV series Ghost Hunters and the scientific investigation methods utilized by TAPS.
These methods are very similar to the type of engineering and scientific methods that Jack has been using on a daily basis for the past 30-plus years in his career as a senior engineering technician
and project leader for the Department of the Army. Beyond his technical
expertise for the Army, Jack possesses video and audio skills from six
years of running his own part-time videography business, as well as his
computer and website design skills from seven years of running his own
part-time computer repair, training, and Web design business.
Since 2011, Jack has also been writing paranormal articles and stories for Paranormal Underground magazine as a regular contributor. Jack is also working on his first book about the investigations of S.P.I.R.I.T.S. of New England, and he was also recently filmed for the television show Paranormal Survivor.
