Jay has a passion for the Old West, which has led him to explore ghost towns and abandoned mines over the past 15 years. One of these excursions resulted in a fascination with the gold that still runs through the mountains, and within a few years he found himself on site at the Crescent Mine in Sumpter, Oregon. Jay has been married to his teenage sweetheart for almost 20 years, and together they have raised two awesome kids..
