In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Neil McNeill, investigative consultant to the Evergreen Paranormal Group. Neil began his study of paranormal phenomena through an association with noted California parapsychologist Loyd Auerbach in 1993. After seven years of independent research in parapsychology and paranormal investigation, Neil began a two-year term as lead field investigator for the Washington State Ghost Society. Since 2004, Neil has served as a parapsychology consultant for television, film, and print media, literary and other groups, and various paranormal organizations. Neil is also a popular presenter in parapsychology at the annual Port Gamble Ghost Conference. He is a member of the international Parapsychological Association, the Rhine Research Institute, and the Seattle Consciousness Education & Research Society.
Neil currently teaches “Paranormal Studies,” a college-level course in the science and history of paranormal investigation, which is offered year-round at community colleges in the greater Seattle area. Neil’s course was included in Seattle Metropolitan Magazine’s top 25 “best and most sought-after” adult education classes. Neil’s work has also been featured on the front page of the Seattle Times, as well as on KING-5′s “Evening Magazine,” KOMO-4 News, KAYO FM, North County Journal, North Kitsap Herald, and the Kitsap Sun. In addition to his work in parapsychology, Neil is a certified reflexologist, Reiki practitioner, and an instructor at Seattle Reflexology & Massage Center.

In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Chris Halton, producer and director of Haunted Earth. In 2005, Chris created Haunted Earth as a means of capturing and sharing paranormal activity through the Internet. Over the years, Haunted Earth moved from just being a paranormal group into an organization that provides high-quality shows and documentaries covering many different aspects of paranormal research. The group films in Europe, as well as North America. They have a huge viewer base, and have more than 27 million viewers on YouTube. Much of the team’s work is supplied to media interests, and they have even been featured on CNN. Currently, Haunted Earth is in partnership with award-winning Director Jason Figgis of October 11 Pictures, working on some new projects for television.
Chris’ background was previously as a police officer, working in varied roles including Detective and Field Intelligence Officer. Chris’ work within the police has given him an ability to assess data, combine that with his psychic gifts, and then provide informed and intelligent observations of paranormality.

In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Katrina Weidman, paranormal investigator and former Paranormal State team member. At the time of our podcast, Katrina was a senior at Penn State earning a dual degree in Integrative arts with an emphasis in music production and Theater with an emphasis in performance. She originally wasn’t going to attend college, but after dropping a friend off at University Park and seeing the campus, she knew it was where she belonged. The next day she signed up for classes at Bucks County Community College, which she attended for two years before transferring to Penn State University Park in 2004. Besides being an investigator for the Paranormal Research Society, she’s been a member of the Penn State Snowboard club since 2004. In 2005 she joined The Lion 90.7 fm as a co-host for a variety of shows and voice over work.

Ellen grew up being hopelessly addicted to horror movies, Dark Shadows, Hammer films from England with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing, scary books, and questioning “what’s out there?” Now as an adult she is an avid fan of Ghost Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, Paranormal State, and any other shows, documentaries, and books on the paranormal she can find! She knew her brother had been killed in Vietnam the day it happened as the Army did not come to their door until the next day: “He sent very powerful messages to prepare us for this news,” that opened up a whole new world to Ellen of the “unexplained.”

In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Rosemary Breen of Psychic Revolution, where paranormal phenomena are the norm. Rosemary is the creator of the website Psychic Revolution, a name chosen by to reflect her view of what needs to happen across the paranormal industry. The Website is the natural extension of her academic research into the paranormal. Rosemary completed her Master of Education at Monash University, Australia, in 2009, and the subject of her dissertation was: The Nature, Incidence, Impact, and Integration of Spontaneous Paranormal Experiences. It is this research that forms the basis of Psychic Revolution. The thesis is based on an online survey that Rosemary designed and launched in late 2007. The survey gained worldwide interest and support in a short space of time, and over 4,000 completed surveys were lodged.
The survey, which is again live on the Net, will remain open indefinitely with the aim of it becoming the largest database of spontaneous paranormal experiences ever collated. The paranormal survey investigates ten types of phenomenon: telepathy, reincarnation, mediumship, auras, premonitions, psychokinesis, out of body experiences, near death episodes, apparitions and déjà vu. In keeping with her business background, Rosemary’s approach to the psychic realms is pragmatic and she has recently released the first Paranormal Activity Analysis Report, a free ebook which highlights the major findings of the first survey round!

Marley is the author of the hit young adult paranormal fiction series, “Ghost Huntress,” from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s Graphia line. She has been a lifelong paranormal enthusiast and started conducting paranormal investigations in August 2007 as research for her “Ghost Huntress” teen fiction series. During her research, she captured some very compelling pictures, videos, and sound files. Gibson was featured on the premiere episode of The Biography Channel’s My Ghost Story, as well as being interviewed by CNN.com for a Halloween feature on ghost hunting in 2008.
