In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Amy Allan and Steve Di Schiavi from the TV show The Dead Files. Chris Davis from Valley Ghost Hunting also stops by for a chat in hour two of the show.
Paranormal researcher and physical medium Amy Allan works with retired Homicide Detective Steve Di Schiavi on The Dead Files to solve unexplained paranormal phenomena in haunted locations across America. In this series, Amy uses her abilities to communicate with the dead, often assuming their role and reliving their death; while Steve uses his years of detective experience to search for physical evidence. When the two investigators come together to share their findings, the parallels between their discoveries are powerfully revealed.
Amy’s interest in paranormal phenomena began at age four when she says she was tormented by “shadow people” in her Arvada, CO, home. Since then, she’s been on a journey to unravel the mysteries of the unexplained. Amy’s abilities have been studied and tested by leading parapsychologists. She has worked with private investigators, police agencies, and has conducted more than 350 investigations in both private homes and businesses. Amy studied Psychology at the University of Arizona and was mentored by world-renowned Para-psychologist, Dr William Roll. She resides in Denver, Colorado.Devoting more than 21 years of active service to the New York City Police Department, retired Homicide Detective Steve Di Schiavi is now lending his expertise to the new Travel Channel series, The Dead Files. Based on the powerful premise that every property has a story to be told, Steve, alongside physical medium, Amy Allan, combine their unique skills to solve unexplained paranormal phenomena in haunted locations across America. In the series, Steve relies on his police training and experience to explore each property, questioning the owners about the building’s past before gathering more facts from local historians, police investigators and by tracking down past owners of the property. When the two investigators come together to share their findings, the parallels between their discoveries are powerfully revealed.
Following his retirement from the NYPD, Steve worked as a Senior Investigator of Merrill Lynch’s Fraud Department. Steve is currently a Special Investigator for the city of New York and is a licensed New York State Private Investigator and a licensed Armed Guard. He also owns his own Private Investigation Company, Paragon Investigations. Steve was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and currently resides on Staten Island with his wife and daughter. In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Jackie Chin, a nationally known paranormalist, author, and spiritual teacher. She uses her gifts to enlighten and encourage those who are seeking solutions. During her life, Jackie has seen many deaths, helped people cross over with Reiki, and counseled clients about these issues. She knows that there is life after death, but she believes that each person has their own idea about what death will be like and this influences their experience of the afterlife. Each time Jackie gives a reading and hears from someone on the other side, she is pleasantly surprised. She is mystified that we can actually talk to those who have crossed over. They are still very involved with our lives. For more information, contact Jackie at http://psychicconnex…s.blogspot.com/ or SacrdLite@aol.com.
