Steve spends a great deal of time developing and expanding his personal sensitivity to paranormal energies. He currently focuses his research efforts on Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP), as he believes it provides the best evidence of the spiritual survival of the human consciousness after physical death.

Originally, he was a member of the Cincinnati UFO research group A.S.K. but realized that his interests were more in the field of cryptozoology. Joedy has been studying the bigfoot phenomenon since 1991 and is the author of Bigfoot in Ohio, Bigfoot Encounters in Ohio: Quest for the Grassman, Traces of the Grassman: the Hunt for the Ohio Bigfoot, The Beginner’s Guide to Bigfoot Research, and Cryptid Ohio.
Joedy founded the Ohio Center for Bigfoot Studies and Cryptid Seeker along with Ken Gerhard and Raven Meindel. He is also a member of the American Bigfoot Society and has appeared on several television programs that discuss large primates in North America, including the History Channel show Monsterquest, SyFy Channel SIGHTINGS & ENCOUNTERS, and The Learning Channel’s Top Ten Mysteries of the World. Today, Joedy lives in Cincinnati and can be seen giving presentations at paranormal and cryptid conventions across the state and Canada.

Dave Galvan founded the Paranormal League of America in 2008 after years in the paranormal field. After having a book thrown at him in 2002 by someone who wasn’t there, Dave entered the field with wide-eyed enthusiasm, and even a certain naivete. His book, Paranormal League of America Presents: Researching America’s Most Haunted Locations; A Paranormal History, is his first. He writes occasionally for Paranormal Underground magazine and is currently producing a reality series based on the PLA’s adventures.
Cindy Ponds Newell is a lifelong resident of North Carolina. She and her husband rented a small farm house for the first six years of their marriage. During those years, so many weird and paranormal things happened, Cindy decided to write about her experiences. But she wanted to create a unique novel, giving life not only to the characters, but also to the house itself. As a history buff, Cindy chose to create a story beginning with the history of a house, using the American Civil War as a back drop. Not only does she intertwine a spooky story with historical facts, she also brings life to the house itself. The reader is educated in both the history behind the haunting and the personalities of those involved. Although the novel is fictional, there are many personal experiences she chose to include. Cindy’s goal in writing Don’t Say Her Name is to offer help to others who might be in the position she once was. She wants to say to them, “You are not crazy. Ghosts are real and they can either guide us in life, or terrorize us. It’s up to us to decide which.”

Still University — Museum of Osteopathic Medicine. He speaks on medical history and exhibits artifacts from the museum worldwide.
About the Movie: Sam Raimi’s Ghost House Pictures produced Dibbuk Box is now titled “THE POSSESSION” and was released on August 31, 2012. The cast includes Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Kyra Sedgwick, Madison Davenport and Natasha Calis, with Ole Bornedal as director. Premise: A young girl buys an antique box at a yard sale, unaware that inside the collectible lives a malicious ancient spirit. The girl’s father teams with his ex-wife to find a way to end the curse upon their child.
About The Dibbuk Box book: A dark secret slowly unravels when a wine cabinet sells at an estate sale in Oregon. It is soon sold and resold on eBay’s Internet auction, and each new owner becomes desperate to get rid of the box along with the health problems, accidents, or death they claim came with it. The curator of a medical museum in a small Missouri town learns of the mysterious cabinet and is intrigued by it as an artifact to be studied and researched. Jason Haxton places a bid on eBay and he, too, wins and soon finds himself the proud owner of the dibbuk box. But as he carefully investigates and records everything he can about this unusual item said to be possessed by a Jewish spirit, he discovers far more than he bargained for. In this true account, a dark past comes to light, a past that began at the time of the Holocaust and seems to have come full circle.

In this episode of Paranormal Underground Radio, we talk with Ben Hansen, team lead of Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files. Ben set up the Fact of Faked investigation team to learn the truth about the paranormal. Early in his youth, Ben developed a fascination with UFOs and secret government projects. Ben has been looking for the real-life X-Files since he was a child and decided he would dedicate his career to investigations. After obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Utah in Sociology and Criminology, he went to work for the State of Utah on a county SVU task force. His training and skills later brought him to work as a criminal investigator for the FBI. Although he never found the X-Files, his time serving at the state and federal levels gave him over 6 years of formal experience in investigating a wide range of crimes and national security details. He works as a Systems Analyst for a non-profit group when he’s not investigating cases.
Also joining Ben is Ernie Alonzo. Since the age of 12, Ernie has been interested in ghosts and the paranormal. He has traveled to various haunted locations throughout California and the U.S. as a paranormal enthusiast. Convinced that the local history in his hometown would provide the foundation for a great ghost walk, in 2009 Ernie founded Haunted Orange, a paranormal tour and events company based in Orange, CA. Originally a walking tour company and a Website, Haunted Orange has expanded to Haunted Orange County and now offers paranormal bus tours, walking tours, paranormal meet ups and investigation opportunities, dinners & lectures with well known personalities in the field. In 2011 Ernie partnered with Ramiro Ramirez of the paranormal reality series "From Beyond" to bring the investigation side of events to Haunted OC. Currently Ernie is working with Ben Hansen of SyFy's Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files on a variety of events including a series of UFO lectures & Skywatches. 2013 will be a pivotal year for Haunted OC. He is determined to expand into all facets of the paranormal and provide a wide range of experiences for patrons.
During the second hour of the show, we also talk with the UPIO, including Natalie Poole and Heather Allynn. Based in Southern California, The Unexplained Phenomena Investigation Organization (UPIO) is a science-based research team dedicated to examining the relations between the physical world and the inexplicable. On April 2, 2012, Michael released his book, The Paranormal Investigator Handbook: A Beginner’s Guide, which is a procedural manual for conducting paranormal investigations and is written for the novice who either wants to join an existing investigative team or start one. This book neither confirms nor denies the existence of ghosts, spirits, or other paranormal entities; it simply describes, in easy to understand terms, how to document, and in some cases, debunk reports of paranormal activity.
