She is also a columnist for Paranormal Underground magazine, writing monthly metaphysics and dream interpretation columns. Karen also writes cookbooks and nutrition and reference books.
Karen is an intuitive energy healer who is a Usui Reiki Ryoho Master/Teacher (Shinpiden) and a certified animal Usui Reiki Ryoho practitioner, as well as an ordained minister for the International Metaphysical Ministry. She has also studied numerous energy and alternative healing techniques including Quantum Touch, aromatherapy, sound healing, metaphysical healing, and crystal healing. She holds a Bachelor of Metaphysical Science (B.MSc) and a Masters of Metaphysical Science (M.MSc) from University of Metaphysics and a PhD in Metaphysical Parapsychology from the University of Sedona. She is currently working towards her Doctor of Divinity (DD) specializing in Spiritual Healing at University of Metaphysics.
Karen is a Nia White Belt who also holds certificates in Life Coaching and Life Purpose Coaching. She teaches classes in vibrational and energy healing, Reiki, and psychic development.

Loyd has been in the field for more than 35 years, focusing on education and field investigation. He is director of the Office of Paranormal Investigations and president (since 2013) of the Forever Family Foundation, an organization supporting research on life after death and the work of spirit mediums in the grieving process. He was appointed to the faculty of Atlantic University of Virginia Beach, Virginia, in late 2010, where he teaches an online parapsychology course. He is on the Board of the Rhine Research Center and the advisory board of the Windbridge Institute.
He is the coauthor, with the late renowned psychic Annette Martin, of The Ghost Detectives Guide to Haunted San Francisco, and has authored books about ESP, hauntings and poltergeists; how to investigate the paranormal; paranormal case files; and many others.

Veteran award-winning daily newspaper editor Don Allison used to be a devout skeptic, even going so far as to doubt his own grandmother’s claims of experiences in a haunted house. But after encountering the unexplained many times, he reluctantly concluded he indeed had experienced the paranormal.
Eventually, after what he described as a mind-blowing paranormal encounter at Gettysburg, PA, he could contain his curiosity no longer. He decided to write about his experiences, and to go a step further – to share the science behind what he had encountered.
The result is the latest volume from Faded Banner Publications, I Met a Ghost at Gettysburg: A Journalist’s Journey into the Paranormal.
Allison said fear of people’s reactions to a book on this topic made him think long and hard before tackling this project. “Once I decided to proceed with this book,” he explained, “I realized I could hold nothing back. I am treating the paranormal as I would any other topic. I am sharing my own experiences and what I have learned from research. I am passing on what other people have told me about the subject and in some cases their own perceptions of what I have experienced.”

Ross is the founder of A.G.H.O.S.T. (Advanced Ghost Hunters of Seattle-Tacoma) and now runs AGHOST Investigations. His experience includes more than 20 years of investigating the paranormal and over 10 years running a ghost hunting group. His work has taken him all over the world to London, Paris, Romania, Rome, Mexico, Scotland, Ireland, Greece, Spain, and many other exciting locations. Throughout his travels, Ross has collected ghost stories, investigated haunted sites, and photographed some of the most beautiful cemeteries. He also enjoys traveling the US to speak with students, fellow ghost hunters, and others who fancy a good ghost story.
Through his travels, he has had opportunities to investigate some of the scariest and most haunted sites, including The Stanley Hotel, Eastern State Prison, Amityville House, Alcatraz Prison, Roman Catacombs, the Ancient Rams Inn, and even the original location of “The Exorcist Case” where he captured some of the scariest phenomena he has ever encountered.​
